💙 Gabriel House Community Response Update 💙

Over the past week, the incredible generosity of the Fall River community has truly shined. We’ve received more than 500 individual donations of clothing, medical equipment, toiletries, and food at our headquarters at 1600 Bay Street. Many local groups have also delivered items for distribution—each sharing heartfelt stories about why they felt called to help..

Our staff and volunteers continue to deliver personalized care packages to those affected, now placed in various temporary housing locations. These packages are thoughtfully tailored to meet each individual’s needs, offering both comfort and dignity during this difficult time.

We will continue to accept donations on their behalf, as your support brings great comfort. As we assess ongoing needs, those affected are currently requesting:
• Shaving Care Items
• Personal hygiene products
• Sweatpants, sweatshirts, and easy-wear garments
• Summer shorts for men and women (all sizes)
• Gift cards to help replace personal items

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the community and abundance of items received, we are no longer in need of:
• Medical equipment (e.g., walkers, wheelchairs, canes)
• General clothing (outside of the items listed above)
• Shoes

Deliveries will continue in the coming days as permanent housing arrangements are established.

Thank you for standing with us and with the families of Gabriel House. Your compassion is making a real difference. Together, we are #FallRiverStrong.

🎁 Spread Joy This Christmas Season: Help Us Support Families in Need 🎁

Christmas is a precious time, in which we are able to celebrate with our loved ones and share in the many blessings that we’ve experienced in this past year. However, many of our children and families are struggling with poverty, food insecurity, and affordable housing. Help us achieve our goal of raising $17,500 for our annual Christmas drive.

This initiative aims to provide a $50 gift card to the roughly 350 children who currently receive services through Catholic Charities of Fall River.

You can make a donation by clicking on the button below. It is through your generosity and compassion that we are able to make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.
